Feeling Unloved/Unwanted?

First of all, know that these NEGATIVE thoughts and feelings are coming from you know who!!! (satan - you know the little negatives that you hear whispered in your ear)

Pick up you Bible and read Colossians 3:12 - It says:

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."

Now, CLAIM these words and tuck them into your heart.  Write it on an index card and put it in your pocket or purse.  Pull it out every ten seconds if you have to, but read it till you believe it!

• Pray  Pray Pray -  If satan can keep us from praying - he's "Got cha"  Pray in the Power of the Blood of Jesus to cast aways demons.  Ephesians 6 (Spiritual warfare)
• Read God's Word - Install one of the Bible Apps on your phone and have it handy
• Replace destructive thoughts and words with God's promises and words
• Call a Friend when you are about to throw a  "Stinkin Thinkin Pity Party"  (a friend that will lift you up and not join you)
• Journal Journal Journal - Did you know that journaling helps clean out the old Junk in your brain - write it down, get it out - fast fast fast
• Read an uplifting book
• Help someone who is in need - it takes your mind off your problems (for sure)

Put on the Whole Armor of God - Every morning - A MUST - a soldier wouldn't think of going out to face the enemy without the proper Gear!  You must think this way also.

1. Belt -Truth

Satan fights with lies, and sometimes his lies sound like truth, but only believers have God's truth, which can defeat satan's lies

2, Body Armor - Righteousness

Satan often attacks our heart - the seat of our emotions, our self worth and trust.  God's righteousness is the body armor that protects our heart and ensures his approval.  He approves of us because he loves us and sent his Son to die for us.

3. Shoes - Readiness to spread the Good News

Satan wants us to think that telling others the Good News is a worthless and hopeless task - the size of the task is too big and the negative responses are too much to handle.  But the shoes God gives us are the motivation to continue to proclaim the true peace that is available in God - news everyone needs to hear.

4. Shield - Faith

What we see are satan's attacks in the form of insults, setbacks and temptations. But the shiled of faith protects us from satan's fiery arrows.  With God's perspective, we can see beyond our circumstances and know that ultimate victory for us.

5. Helmet - Salvation

Satan wants to make us doubt God, Jesus and our salvation.  The helmet protects our mind from doubting God's saving work for us.

6. Sword - Word of God 

The sword is the only weapon of offense in this list of armor.  There are times when we need to take the offensive against Satan.  When we are tempted, we need to trust in the truth of God's Word.
