So FOCUS on the Face of God today.
If you are going through a difficult time in your life, one of the things that I do is claim a scripture that you like and write it on a piece of paper and keep it in your pocket, read it all through the day, the words of God will give you strength that will move mountains.
When I was going through my divorce after 30 years of marriage, 4 children and 5 grandchildren, new town, new job, etc... the verse that I kept with me was on a little card that my daughter gave to me and it says: "The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 13:31, 17:20
At that time in my life, I couldn't imagine how I was going to make it because I had depended on someone else my whole life, I was Scared, Fearful of everything, Emotional (crying ALL the time) so you wonder why I left (well that is another story for another day) but baby step, baby step, baby step I got through one hour than 1 more hour and 1 day than 1 week and it has been 9 years. I remember asking God to give me a man that I could share my innermost thoughts, dreams, laughs, Saturday breakfasts and most of all pray with. To make a long story short, this morning My Husband asked me to pray with him! WOW! God is powerful and I am here to tell you that he answers prayers! But... you have to ask him, tell him your needs and thoughts, talk to him like he is sitting next to you, he is our Heavenly Father and he loves you more than you can possibly imagine.
